CONDUCTIVE BIG BAG

Sutaplas produces three types of big-bags in terms of their conductivity:

 



Type A :

Produced from non-conductive fabric, these bags do not require taking measures against electrostatic charges. However they shouldn't be used near explosive gas or dust.

 

Type B :

Produced out of a fabric with a resistance voltage that won't exceed 6kV and out of non-conductive material these big-bags should have their surfaces cleaned from water or oil and shouldn't have any clip kit or other tools touching the bag surface to prevent an occurence of a spark.

 

Type C :

They are produced either entirely out of conductive fabric or else out of non-conductive ones with carbon threads or conducting fibers inserted within the fabric along lines of definite spaces to function in a similar manner. These threads or fibers must be contacting with each other in a resistance less than 108 ohms and should be grounded at the stage of filling or discharge. These bags can prevent the occurance of sparks by providing a way to ground the bag when the cargo may causes any inflammable gases or if an electrostatic charge occurs with the cargo material brushes against the bag fabric, both of which may happen during filling or discharge processes.

 

May be produced according to your custom needs from 200 kg to 2000 kg, and with 5:1 or with 6:1 safety quotients.

SStandard-bags and Q-bags may be produced with the extra feature of conductivity if desired.

 

Where to use:

When the cargo or the environment of filling/discharge may contain inflammable materials.
